#Ramadhan@NYC: Veggie garden…

Our veggie garden for ifthar:)…

I have to admit, fasting for quite long hours make you crave for more and more. Yup, the three of us, dengan Bo yang belum terlalu ‘hawa’ pengen macam-macam saat berbuka. Hmm…sepertinya musti banyak belajar sama Bo nih :)..

I vowed to eat more veggies and fruits this weekend. And I did…sepiring strawberries sudah ludes, diselingin seedless grape yang lumayan seger. Minum segeral jus mangga ternyata sudah buat perut begah. So, akhirnya, pecel pun beraksi. Ngeliat nasih tuh dah maleees aja..

Well, whatever that is, alhamdulilaaah..yuk, kita mecel duluuu 🙂

#Ramadhan@NYC: Steak, anyone…

Alhamdulillaaah..nikmatnya berbuka puasa..sampe ngg ngobrol lagi pak 🙂

Knowing that I will be too tired to cook things, my hubby took an initiative to call me and asked what would need to be prepared for ifthar. So sweet of him, rite…

So, sambil mengingat-ingat isi kulkas dan freezer, jadilah mama Bo et Obi minta Bapak mengeluarkan steak halal yang ada di freezer and marinate them so it will be ready to be grilled by the time I reached home. And he did….plus adding a big bowl of seasoned potatoes ready to be roasted on the oven and some veggies for our cesar salad.

Lucky me…by the time I arrived home, I had 30 minutes to prepare everything and we made it…

So, alhamdulillah…ifthar kali ini pun bisa makan tepat waktu 🙂
